Me at Dream Racing Vegas

I am 90% sure this will be all for not but why not have fun with it. Should probably do a review of my time in the Kinja-verse.

Tell you the truth I’m not even sure it was Kinja when I started. I believe I was granted authorship by Raph by hijacking someone else’s post with a photo of Mike Tyson in a Hello Kitty Smart car asking for authorship. I thought it was a pretty big deal at the time. I was able to write on the farm team of my new favourite car news site!

I tried really hard at first, writing stuff I was passion about and hoping for a FP share. That time never came I ended up spending most of my time here joking around with you all and posting things I assume most of you would like. Some of my stories were hijacked for FP content, but that will happen. First time I remember it happening was Mallucci’s bonehead merge taking out two other drivers the week after he did a Q&A here. The second one I remember was a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that magically made its way to the FP about an hour after. I was usually just happy getting on Daswauto’s Best of Oppo posts, but I feel I did write some good stuff.

My first real effort was looking at the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and how excited I was for these trucks to come out. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was another one that I think a few people enjoyed! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was a kit car build in the city I live in that got me in touch with some people who were looking for one and someone who had one and we ended up having a good discussion on it. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is another piece I did, and I still have it. The creation of The Rally Takeover was another big point in my career here as Dusty granted me authorship and I tried hard to make pieces that could help him get people viewing the blog. My best pieces were !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that now has over 10k views without ever being FP’d. I still do Canadian Rally Championship posts before the rallies too.

Being a hang around here has allow me many cool opportunities. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I asked a lot of cool industry people car related questions and got bug Raph with rolling the Baja Bug jokes and Orlove is a battlefield. Had a lot of fun playing fantasy racing games too!

Safe to say I wasted a lot of time here and can’t think of a better way to do so with such a big and awesome group of weirdos. Thanks Oppo.

Oh man, your post was one of the ones that steered me toward Dream Racing when I was in Vegas last weekend!
